Why did we rebrand?

Dear Valued Client,

As we approach a new season filled with hope and possibility, we want to take a moment to share a meaningful update with you, our trusted and valued community.

After 47 years of serving the San Ramon Valley as Community Presbyterian Counseling Center, we are preparing to enter a new chapter. Beginning in the new year, our name will change to Sycamore Grove.

This change is more than just a new name, it reflects a deeper vision for who we are and who we aspire to be. Our inspiration comes from the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19, who climbed a sycamore tree to get a better view of Jesus. That moment of clarity led to a profound transformation in his life. In the same way, we want Sycamore Grove to be a place where individuals and families find perspective, healing, and transformation.

The name also honors our deep roots in the San Ramon Valley, which was once covered in groves of sycamore trees. After nearly five decades of serving this community, we remain deeply committed to walking alongside you with compassion, faith, and professional care.

Please know that while our name is changing, our care of you will remain the same. You will continue to receive the same high-quality care from the providers you know and trust.

We wanted you, our clients, to be the first to know before we publicly launch our new name in the new year. Thank you for being a part of our story. We are so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you under our new name.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

With gratitude,

Katie Dennis, LMFT
Director, Sycamore Grove
