Service Overview

At Sycamore Grove, we understand how overwhelming family challenges can feel when the home that should be your safe space starts to feel like a battleground. Whether you are facing communication breakdowns, parenting struggles, or the silent distance that grows in the daily busyness of life, we are here to help.

Our family counseling services bring compassion, professional excellence, and spiritual sensitivity together, creating a place where each member of your family is seen, heard, and valued. We do not offer quick fixes or cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, we walk alongside you, guiding your family to find real healing and sustainable transformation.

Here, you will find:

  • A safe environment where faith and evidence-based practices work in harmony.

  • Therapists who honor each person’s story and help you reconnect with one another.

  • Tools and guidance to build stronger bonds and create a legacy of hope for generations to come.

How We Serve Families:

  • Personalized Care Plans: Every family is unique. We work with you to create a customized plan that meets your family’s specific needs and goals.

  • Practical Tools for Lasting Change: Learn communication strategies, conflict resolution, and healthy boundaries that you can carry into every season of life.

  • Compassionate, Non-Judgmental Support: No shame, no blame, just grace and understanding as you navigate the journey together.

What Is Family?

A collection of safe people who meet your emotional and relational needs — where life is experienced together through work, love, and play. Where values are formed and you learn to adapt to change.

Why Do Families Struggle?

Families face life's challenging phases together. Developmental changes, daily difficulties, and unexpected crises can all strain your family's ability to maintain healthy connection. When the home that should be your safe space starts to feel like a battleground, you don't have to face it alone.

"Families grow stronger when they heal together."

— Lisa Lewis, LMFT Founder of The Wholehearted Family

"While science has affirmed the centrality of human connection to personal well-being, it has also exposed the price paid when close connections — family in particular — are troubled or impaired. When families falter today, the ripples seem to inflict greater damage than in years past."

— Velizar Nikiforov, M.A. LCPC The Family Institute at Northwestern University
