I have a special heart for working with children and teens, helping them develop emotional awareness, confidence, and healthy coping skills. My work with children often integrates play-based and experiential approaches along with emotional regulation and trauma-informed tools to help kids process difficult experiences in developmentally appropriate ways. I also partner with parents when helpful, offering guidance and tools that support children’s growth outside of the therapy room.

I also enjoy working with couples who are preparing for marriage. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and have completed training in the How We Love® relationship model, helping couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and build a strong foundation for their relationship.

In addition, I am passionate about helping teens and women of all ages heal from eating and body image struggles and develop a more peaceful relationship with their bodies. My work in this area is informed by the Health At Every Size® and Intuitive Eating philosophies, which promote a compassionate approach to health and well-being that prioritizes self-care and body respect over weight or appearance. When working with disordered eating, I often collaborate with eating disorder–specialized dietitians and physicians to provide coordinated care that supports each client's unique recovery journey.

My therapeutic approach is holistic, integrating mind, body, and spirit. I draw especially from Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves with compassion and curiosity. I also integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and somatic-based approaches to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change. For clients who desire it, I welcome incorporating faith and spiritual exploration as part of the healing process.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children—especially at the beach, watching movies, or playing games together. I also love singing on the worship team at my church and enjoying stand-up comedy.
